Artists Log, day 3

Wed Dec 9, 2009, 10:17 AM
Day three since internet went out... starting to die from boredom- I fear its not long until I'm reduced to constructing paper people again to kill the time... and then burn for warmth.

________

In real news... Yeah. It snowed. ... A lot. Like... A LOT so much so, in fact, that our power went out... for at least, like, 10 hours. I don't really know. I just know it was from early in the morning until very-nearly night.

Snow canceled school- my only hope for warmth. Then it melted a little and much joy was had throughout the land- but then it got dark, and cold, and a "hard frost" warning was issued. I played in the snow for... oh.. 15 minutes. Made a snow man on the edge of the deck, hit my dad with a few snowballs. Somehow its just not as fun when there is no warm house to escape in to after going numb.

School was canceled on day 2 as well. Internet had not returned. Snow melted a little, but there was still too much to brave driving. Went on a walk to survey the damage- tree branches down left and right, one had fallen across wires- explaining the lack of cable and internet.

Day three... Today... 12-9-09, power is back, which is amazing, but not enough for me. I miss my internet. As I type this I'm sitting amongst my peers at school (it was reopened, which is a bit of a mixed bag, emotion wise)pining for the loss at home.

______

I. HATE. SNOW.

It is cold, and wet and slippery and my legs hurt like hell from catching myself while falling several dozen times. ):<

Someone in a warm state send the heat this way to melt it all before I get trapped in my house again.

Please?

... Pleaaaase? ;-;
